About The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma

kcdg.org

The Greater Kansas City Alumnae of Delta Gamma are dedicated to raising money and volunteering for the area's organizations that provide services to the visually impaired as well as supporting the Delta Gamma Foundation. In fact, Service for Sight has been at the heart of Delta Gamma’s philanthropic mission since 1936.

In September of 1952, the Kansas City Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter, The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri and the Kansas City Association for the Blind established the Kansas City Nursery School for the Blind, now called the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI). We continue to support the school as well as other organizations, such as Alphapointe, that serve the blind and visually impaired.

The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma is a diverse group of women of all ages who were initiated at colleges all over the country.
